Rashid Khan gave the third blow to Chennai Super Kings. He dismissed Ben Stokes on the fourth ball of the eighth over. Stokes was caught by wicketkeeper Wriddhiman Saha after scoring seven runs off six balls. Stokes was bought by Chennai Super Kings this time in the auction for Rs 16.25 crore. Rituraj Gaikwad of Chennai Super Kings was batting in a stormy manner. He completed his half-century off 23 balls. Chennai had scored 90 runs for three wickets in nine overs. Rituraj Gaikwad was playing after scoring 56 runs off 25 balls. At the same time, Ambati Rayudu had scored one run.

Gujarat has a target of 179 runs
Batting first, Chennai Super Kings had set a target of 179 runs in front of Gujarat Titans. Rituraj Gaikwad scored the maximum 92 runs for Chennai. Apart from him, Moin Ali played an inning of 23 runs. Dhoni hit a four and a six in the last over to take the team’s score to 178 for seven. He scored 14 runs in seven balls.
