RCB began their innings with Virat Kohli and captain Faf Duplessis taking to the crease. The pair started off strong, scoring nine runs in the first over without any loss. RCB Scored 42 Runs in 6 Overs
As the sixth over of RCB’s innings concluded, they had scored 42 runs without losing any wickets. Kohli remained unbeaten on 17 off 17 balls, while Duplessis was unbeaten on 23 off 19 deliveries.

Kohli’s Bat Fails
RCB’s innings took a turn for the worse in the seventh over when veteran batsman Virat Kohli fell prey to KM Asif, with Yashasvi Jaiswal taking the catch. Kohli scored 18 runs off 19 balls, managing to hit just one boundary during his innings. Glenn Maxwell was the next batsman to take to the crease following Kohli’s dismissal. At this point, RCB had scored 61 runs for the loss of one wicket in eight overs.
Duplessis and Maxwell survived
After the dismissal of Virat Kohli, Faf Duplessis and Glenn Maxwell took charge of the innings and formed a partnership of more than 30 runs for the second wicket. As a result, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) scored 86 runs for one wicket in 12 overs. Duplessis remained unbeaten on 42 off 37 balls, while Maxwell was unbeaten on 23 off 16 balls.
Faf Duplessis hit a half-century
Faf Duplessis, the captain of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), reached his half-century mark with his seventh such score in the current season of IPL. He scored 55 runs off 44 balls, including three fours and two sixes, before returning to the pavilion.
RCB got a double blow
RCB suffered a double setback when Adam Zampa claimed two wickets in quick succession. In the 16th over, Zampa got Mahipal Lomror caught by Dhruv Jurel on the very first ball, with Lomror scoring just one run off two balls.
Next to bat, Dinesh Karthik also fell victim to Zampa on the third ball, being declared lbw without opening his account after facing just two balls. At this point, RCB had scored 123 runs for four wickets in 16 overs.
