Ranchi: Indian team’s young star player Subman Gill has emerged as a second innings specialist batsman which has surprised the fans.
After the World Test Championship series, Subman Gill was fielded as the number 3 batsman of the Indian team. Subman Gill, who failed to score even a half-century in 11 consecutive innings, gave a quality comeback by smashing a century in the 2nd innings of the 2nd Test against England.
Following this, Subman Gill, who was ducked out in the first innings in the 3rd Test match at Rajkot Stadium, scored 91 runs in the second innings. Subman Gill also proved his batting form with a century miss. Subman Gill’s 38 in the first innings of the subsequent Test at Ranchi marked the start of India’s downfall.

But after Jaiswal was bowled out for 37 runs in the second innings of the 4th Test match, 4 batsmen of the Indian team went out for meager runs. But without any tension Subman Gill scored a half century without hitting a boundary till the end. The fact that he waited till the end to return the game to the Indian team without taking any risk is being appreciated by the fans.

While the Indian team has struggled in chasing in the second innings over the past few years, Subman Gill’s visage has been a bulwark for the Indian team.
